Twister Before
Starved almost to the point of death, Twister, a 4-month old Great Dane, was seized from his owner by Animal Control. The bone in his left front leg was deformed from malnutrition.
-
Twister After
It took a lot of love and time but Twister is looking great now. His growth will always be stunted due to the neglect and malnutrition, but we remain hopeful that he will live a long and healthy life.
-
Clarence Before
Clarence came to us severely emaciated, anemic, and near death. He was picked up as a stray by Animal Control.
-
Clarence After
Amazing what a little love and TLC will do! We were able to get Clarence fixed up and as you can see he looks great now.
-
Olivia Before
Olivia came to us with a severe flea allergy and skin problems from years of neglect.
-
Olivia After
Olivia made a terrific recovery and had two happy years with her new family before heart disease claimed her life. A necropsy showed that the years of neglect she suffered contributed to her heart condition. At least Olivia lived long enough to know how good life can truly be.

Tiny
Tiny came to us from Jefferson County Animal Control. Now he has a new family and they just love him. They sent us this picture of Tiny romping in the snow.
